White walls flooded with natural light, fresh plants, a library full of French novels and language textbooks... Here, you learn as if you were in a café — relaxed, with a cup in hand.
Our courses, mainly in French and English, adapt to everyone: practical workshops to develop conversation skills, personalized lessons tailored to your level and goals, small groups to learn alongside fellow enthusiasts**Japanese lessons for non-native speakers also available.

Hello, I’m Vincent Giry.
As a learner myself, I studied Japanese language and culture at Bordeaux III University and obtained the JLPT Level 1 in 2005.This personal experience shaped my conviction: learning a language is about refining your ability to express yourself.
Alongside my media career, I developed a keen sense for communication and the nuances of words. For over 25 years, I’ve taught English and French in private lessons, perfecting a personalized teaching method tailored to each student.
I put special emphasis on pronunciation: “Having the vocabulary but not being able to get your message across because of pronunciation” — nothing is more frustrating!At Ici France, we work on clear and elegant pronunciation to communicate effectively.
For me, languages are not just knowledge, but tools for expression and connection.
My goal is to share the joy of being understood and understanding others.Our courses are available in-person and online, to learn not only in Okinawa but all over Japan and abroad.
